Brighton-Le-Sands duplex by Zane Carter Architects featured as Domain House of the Week

Domain House of the Week in Brighton-Le-Sands

We’re pleased to share that one of our Brighton-Le-Sands duplex residences has been featured as Domain House of the Week, recognised for its design, craftsmanship and modern approach to coastal living.

Designed by Zane Carter Architects, the home sets out to make the most of its bayside setting while delivering the privacy, comfort and detail expected of a contemporary luxury residence.

A new benchmark for duplex design

In the Domain feature, listing agent Trent Tarby from McGrath Sans Souci described the property as setting “a new benchmark in Australian duplex design”.

The residence brings together a front laser-cut screen, Calacatta marble, oversized commercial-grade windows, Venetian plaster features, Paris fittings and feature LED lighting. Each element was considered as part of a broader architectural response, one focused on light, proportion, material quality and everyday liveability.

Designed around comfort, detail and coastal living

The home has been planned to feel generous and resolved, with strong connections between interior spaces and the coastal context of Brighton-Le-Sands.

The first level is arranged as a private sleeping sanctuary, anchored by a main bedroom with bench seating, a designated make-up area, a generous walk-in robe and ensuite.

Additional features include a fully monitored Hikvision alarm system, Yamaha surround sound integration, a Bellissimo lift entrance, Daikin split ducted heating and cooling, and extensive storage throughout.

Why this feature matters

For us, the Domain feature reflects the value of detailed, site-responsive residential design. A duplex can do more than maximise a site. With the right planning, material selection and architectural restraint, it can create a home that feels private, refined and connected to its setting.

This Brighton-Le-Sands residence represents our approach to contemporary Sydney architecture: considered, crafted and shaped around how people live.
